Let's face it, we've all seen those videos of people drop-shipping products online and claiming to have made a fortune. So I decided to dip my feet into the world of print-on-demand, to see if it's possible to make passive income.

 

I set up a Printful account, and designed some simple caps with emojis and icons on them. I then created an Etsy account where I listed the caps for sale on their marketplace. I connected the accounts, so that when a customer places an order through Etsy, it automatically sends the order across to Printful, who take care of the printing and shipping.

 

To date I've only sold a handful of caps, and each one only profits a few dollars. But it's nice when a new order comes through, and I get paid a few dollars for doing nothing. So it is possible to make a passive income, but so far from my experience, I haven't made a lot from it.
