HOW DO 360 CAMERAS WORK?
The GoPro Max has 2 cameras, one on each side. Each one captures a 180 degree field of view, so when stitched together they create a globe of sorts, which captures everything around you from all angles.
HOW DO YOU WARP THE VIDEOS?
Because the video files are 360, you're able to get some unique perspectives. You can zoom out to create a tiny planet, and then invert it to create a tunnel of sorts. Or you can just keep the view like a normal camera and simply choose the direction you want the camera to be pointing... but that's no fun!
WHAT DO YOU EDIT WITH?
I use the GoPro app to edit the videos, and add keyframes to choose the direction the camera will be looking. For colour-grading and other more complex edits, I either use Videoleap, or Premiere Pro.
HOW'D YOU GET SO MANY FOLLOWERS?
Honestly, I don't know. I never expected these silly little videos to do so well on TikTok, though I'm obviously thrilled! My advice would be to use trending sounds and keep your videos short (5-10 seconds seems to work best for me).
